THIS PLAN IS FOR YOU IF:
- You're a self-guided athlete and looking for a solid road map to get you to the finish line strong, healthy, and happy.
STARTING POINT:
- Level 1 (beginner): Suitable for athletes with no swim/bike/run experience or who are coming back to triathlon after time away/injury. You should have relative comfort in the water though no formal swim background is required. Swim, bike, and run fitness will build as you go.
- Level 2 (experienced): Ideal for athletes who have some general fitness coming in. You should be able to comfortably swim 25 yards continuously. Swim, bike, and run fitness will build as you go.
ABOUT THE PLAN:
- Length: 8-12 weeks
- Three-week step cycles (build intensity and/or volume for 2 weeks then pull back intensity and/or volume the third week to shed fatigue & absorb the training you've been doing) --> helps prevent injury and overtraining!
- Focus on quality to get you to the start line feeling strong, ready, and joyful!
- Training zones are based on perceived effort for ease of training and learning to tune into your body's cues.

HOW IT WORKS:
- Hosted online through TrainingPeaks
- Once you purchase the plan, you will receive a startup email containing the link to activate your training plan.
- Your plan will live in your TrainingPeaks training library forever and you can reuse it as many times as you like.
- You do not need to pay for TrainingPeaks to use this plan, though a premium account can be helpful if you want to make adjustments to the weekly training flow.
