THIS PLAN IS FOR YOU IF:
- You're a self-guided athlete and looking for a solid road map to get you to the finish line strong, healthy, and happy.
- You have about equal capability in the swim, bike, and run.
We do not recommend this plan for athletes who are limited on their swim proficiency.
- You should be able to comfortably swim 1000 yards with breaks and bike/run at an easy pace for 30 minutes.
ABOUT THE PLAN:
- Length: 20 weeks (4 base building, 16 week build to the 70.3)
- Only one long ride OR long run each weekend - a great strategy for athletes who are injury-prone, have limited weekend availability, or are seeking to balance training with other life priorities.
- Training zones are based on perceived effort for the swim, heart rate for bike and run. You have the opportunity to do a heart rate zone test for the bike and run in the first two weeks.

HOW IT WORKS:
- Hosted online through TrainingPeaks
- Once you purchase the plan, you will receive a startup email containing the link to activate your training plan.
- Your plan will live in your TrainingPeaks training library forever and you can reuse it as many times as you like.
- You do not need to pay for TrainingPeaks to use this plan, though a premium account can be helpful if you want to make adjustments to the weekly training flow.
